What to expect

Upon a successful vote for MEBA, we will collectively bargain an agreement for the Mates of OSG/ATC into MEBA. Your input will be requested throughout the process, and you are welcome to attend negotiation sessions.

• All mates who join the MEBA will be given Group 1 status (the highest possible) in the union.

• All initiation fees are waived and there is NO obligation to stay with OSG/ATC after contract ratification.

• You will have immediate access to a variety of jobs with multiple companies on different vessels and with different itineraries.  

• Open slots in the MMP passthrough are available immediately upon joining allowing you to access to all MEBA and MMP jobs.

• Your permanent job with OSG/ATC is safe, you will not be pushed out for other members. If you chose to leave your position, you will be able to take another job with MEBA as a group 1 member.

• Your vacation time will be protected via union work rights.

• Training for upgrades and STCW renewal are free or reimbursed though our training plan.

• Medical and Dental provided for you and your family with no premiums.
